Nirvana Cannabis: Empowering Growth & Community Engagement in Cannabis Retail
Founded in 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona, the Nirvana Cannabis brand has become a dedicated community partner of Cannabis Cactus Magazine. We’re thrilled to share the success of growing exponentially every year - a task that is not easy to do in any cannabis market. I had the pleasure of speaking with Maximilian Schell, the Marketing Manager at Nirvana, who shed light on the ongoing journey, current developments, and community happenings at Nirvana Cannabis.
Nirvana Cannabis has expanded its footprint significantly over the years, operating nine locations in Arizona, thirteen in Michigan, four in Missouri, and one in Maryland, with more on the horizon. This growth highlights the Nirvana Cannabis commitment to provide access to quality cannabis products to consumers far and wide, as well as a desire to enrich the communities they operate in.
Speaking of locations, Nirvana has some exciting developments in the works for 2024. Their West Phoenix (75th Ave) dispensary has been undergoing a fresh remodel and expansion of its sales floor, promising an enhanced shopping experience for customers. Additionally, a new Tucson location is set to open, further solidifying their statewide footprint in Arizona.
In addition to physical retail expansion, Nirvana consistently introduces new products catering to ever evolving consumer preferences. In April, Nirvana is featuring exciting product releases including Cookies Dual Chamber Vapes, Cookies 2.0 products, the full Loud Pax line & Mac Pharms Flower. Clean Labs Hash Holes (1g Flower and 0.3g Rosin prerolls) & Pucks Rosin Gummies are already available, providing another enticing solventless option for cannabis enthusiasts.
As always, Nirvana’s cultural impact extends beyond retail. The team actively engages with the community through various initiatives and events. For instance, they will be participating in Country Thunder this year (April 11-14th) alongside DIME Industries, showcasing their commitment to engaging with diverse audiences. Nirvana dispensary participates in local events like the Toy Drive with Phoenix Empact during the holidays of 2023 and the Terps for a Cause Breast Cancer Awareness campaign with Timeless Vapes.
Nirvana goes beyond retail transactions by fostering a sense of wellness and goodwill in the city. They have been hosting Community Markets at their locations, providing a platform for cannabis brands and local vendors to showcase their products. These events not only enhance the shopping experience but also contribute to the local economy and cultural exchange.
Looking ahead, Nirvana Cannabis has more exciting plans on the horizon. They are gearing up to celebrate the Cookies Tempe 1-Year Anniversary in June, marking a significant milestone in their journey. Nirvana Tucson and Flagstaff locations are opening to serve consumers outside the metro Phoenix area with the same great cannabis products.
