Pinene & Monk Parakeets | Cannabis Terpene
Pinene
Pinene is the most common terpene found in the plant kingdom. The unmistakably woody smell is found in coniferous trees, rosemary, sage, dill, and many cannabis strains like OG Kush and Jack Herer. It’s effects are generally described as uplifting, creating a state of alert focus. Pinene is a natural insect repellant, making any plants that contain it great for throwing on a campfire or barbecue.
Monk Parakeet
The Monk Parakeet is native to subtropical areas of South America, principally Argentina. As an introduced species, it thrives all over the world in urban areas rich with plant life. Madrid has the largest population of monk parakeet in all of Europe. It can be seen in large groups in the city at Casa de Campo, Retiro, and Dehesa de la Villa parks.
