If It Keeps on Raining, Levee’s Goin’ to Break | Cannabis Cocktail

To keep updated on all the new trends in cannabis would be a full time job for most, and I’m glad not to be that kind of person. I’m much more impressed by the old school ways of weed (just like the music that I listen to). Rock and Roll from the seventies (Led Zeppelin) and a tip of the hat to the Big Band Era, with a muted reference to Benny Goodman and his namesake ‘Fizz’ which in my rambunctious mind has a healthy portion of cannabis infused gin. The reference to Zeppelin is in the form of a twisted take on the classic “French-75” which under most circumstances is a strong drink without the THC.

I offer you this recipe to “cross-fade” but first, what is a cross-fade?

A cross-fade is, according to the Urban Dictionary, stoned and drunk at the same time. They seem to categorize the experience with an overwhelming stigma. That is, when you imbibe cannabis and alcohol, all bad things happen. To some that may be so, but to others the experience is lovely and pure. It’s an experience unlike many others in life. I offer the recipe and the technique to cross-fade with a pleasant outcome instead of one for the record books.

One most important statement is, start slow. You probably don’t want to make a 250mg cannabis cocktail and drink it quickly. That would not show common sense.

My recipes are strong, make less or drink slower.

In the cocktail, which is a take on the French 75, I ask that you use freshly squeezed tangerine juice, if you cannot find it, please use a brilliant simple syrup from a company named Fruitations up in Massachusetts. https://justaddfruitations.com/ It’s got just the right balance for this cannabis cocktail. It is a strong drink. Make no mistake. I also recommend that you enjoy this drink with your breakfast. It doesn’t have gin, but you can add it if you like.
