Chill Steel Pipe
I was working on an interview with Richard Gonzalez, co/founder, and inventor of the Chill Steel Pipe. Unfortunately, we lost him last year. To properly pay homage to his memory and talent for design, I want to discuss his brilliant invention in a written piece in Cannabis Cactus.
The Chill Steel Pipe features a proprietary “food-safe” coating on the inside of the handsome, stainless steel clad (read tough and easy to clean) lower “easy to hold” pot shaped base. Fitted on the top of the gently curved base is a mouthpiece, roughly an inch around and two inches deep. The entire contraption is very easy to clean – I recommend an isopropyl surgical wipe that you can purchase at a drugstore. This extra swabbing is not a bad idea when sharing the bong amongst friends. The shape is fun to look at and easy to load and clean. The down stem which the bowl fits into is made of a strong material, certainly not glass which is dangerous when easily broken.
I’m a massive fan of the Chill Steel Pipe and I’m not known to review bongs as a rule. They’re just too potent for me. I prefer a pipe or a joint. But the Chill Bong makes it easy to enjoy the benefits of cannabis. Grab one on the web from their website and let me know what you think!
And when you fire it up for the first time, please dedicate that hit to Richard. He was a good guy.
