This is incredibly easy to do, but requires very careful attention to detail for safety. Never leave this infusion unattended, and don’t use any open flames or smoke during the process.
1 Bottle (750ml) of Bourbon Whiskey or other liquor
7-8 Grams of Decarbed Cannabis
***Be extremely careful with this infusion. Do not let the liquor reach 170° F, as this is the point that alcohol can combust.***
Combine cannabis with 250 ml of the liquor in a heat-proof mason jar (do not seal jar)
Place the jar in the top of a double boiler
Fill the Top of the double boiler to cover half the jar
Simmer lightly at around 160° F for 30-60 minutes, don’t allow the temperature to reach 170° F
Let the mixture cool.
Pour back into the liquor bottle and add the rest (500ml) of the liquor on top to combine.
