Now while this product is completely safe for glass, it does affect some functionality. It can be diluted with water if it’s that big of an issue for you but really this product is made to help keep glass clean by preventing build up of resins and waxes on the interior of the piece. Whereas in a normal piece with water, after you hit it, you notice resin start to build up on the walls. Piece water prevents that build up. Any surface the piece water comes in contact with will not collect the usual build up making it super easy to rinse out. Really, I see this for the lazy stoner who lets their bong get as dirty and clogged as it can who then has a difficult time finally cleaning it due to the amount of build up it now contains.
