California Expands Medical Cannabis Delivery
It is no secret that California's cannabis industry is struggling for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the local control's chokehold on access. In the cannabis industry, local control is a constant. It's one of the key factors in getting people to approve cannabis ballot initiatives.
However, with the passing of Senate Bill 1186 this past week, local control over the delivery of medical cannabis has become a little bit weaker in California. While this is good news for medicinal marijuana users and dispensaries that deliver, it does little to support the adult use market, which is the real backbone of California's democratic cannabis industry.
