22RED | Blueberry Shortcake

Blueberry Shortcake is one of 22Red’s premier strains found in Arizona this season. Opening the jar, I smell star anise and nutmeg on the first inhale and then peach and plum on the second. The fragrance was not at all blueberry for me, but is a very welcoming smell, especially going into wintertime. My wife said that she thought it smelled like a loquat tree, which has a distinct fennel/anise smell mixed with dark fruits. The flavor was sweet and slightly fruity. I just took 3 medium hits from my pipe and was satisfied for the evening, no need to revisit the pipe before bedtime.
